After a while of operation the flue walls get deformed and need to be straightened.
For this, a Flue Wall Straightening Machine will be provided.
The FWSM is handled, and lifted up and down in a pit by the FTA’s flue wall hoist or auxiliary hoist.
The FWSM is positioned in the pit, after which both walls are straightened through the individual hydraulic cylinders in any order or combination.
The cabin operator will position the FWSM in the pit.
The actual straightening operation will be controlled by an floor operator.
Electric power for the hydraulic power pack is taken from the FTA or from building through quick connections.
