After a while of operation the flue walls get worn and need to be replaced.
To be able to replace a flue wall it must be demolished and removed in pieces.
For this, a Flue Wall Demolition Grab is offered. The FWDG is handled by the FTA’s flue wall hoist.
The FWDG is set on the worn flue wall, after which the wall is crushed through hydraulic force.
Electric power for the hydraulic power pack is taken from the FTA through quick connections.
The FWDG will have an interlock system which will prevent it from running when operators are attaching the device to the FTA.
The actual crushing operation will be controlled by the operator in the cabin (FWDG on/off).
