REEL-Alesa materials handling equipment : Refinery reached full capacity

REEL Alesa high-performance handling equipment contributes to the region’s largest alumina refining operation

REEL Alesa is proud having participated to EGA’s Al Taweelah alumina refinery, which reached mid-July 2020 full ramp-up to 2 million metric tons per annum.

It marks a significant milestone for the region’s largest alumina refining operation.

REEL Alesa delivered on a turnkey basis high-performance materials handling equipment including reclaim systems from the refinery :

• silo feeding,
• anti-segregation,
• silo reclaim,
• truck loading station,
• belt conveyors
• and the high capacity silo including its foundations,

allowing a full ramp-up achievement after only fourteen months of production, without a single working hour lost to injuries on the site.
